Happy Birthday, littlest brother. I mean youngest brother. I LOVE that photo of you. Glad you still are out there having fun, or at least looking like you are. Now I know I'm losing it...I KNOW Mark's birthday is the 29th. And I was up early this morning paying bills - all dated the 28th....what a disconnect. Ah well, never too early to start celebrating.

Here is how I remember Mark's (and Dad's) birthday: Dad is 8/28 and Mark is 9/29. I will save my greetings. Glad to know the rest of you struggle too, though. Speaking of Dad, how are the gums?

No special plans at this point. It will probably be the usual: 4 weeks in the summer with the kids. I doubt I'll make it in December. I knew it wasn't my birthday when I woke - good thing, too, I would not want to work, and things have been more than busy at the job. Other than that, no news worth broadcasting. I will spend 2 days in Paris next week, making sure that our stand at a convention is running smoothly.

I woke up thinking it was Mark's birthday, too. Then I remembered it was Kenny Schwartz's birthday. He would have been 47 today. Anyway, Mark, we'll be thinking of you, and Happy Birthday, tomorrow, which for you will come almost half a day sooner than it will for us here on the West Coast. Any plans to be back east in Decemeber? Next summer? §

The rains have returned to Washington, and I'm glad of it. Paul started playing the trumpet last week, and has taken to it like a duck to water. We did some research on the Lizard (now jointly owned by Paul and Betsy) - he's a Platysaurus Spp, (not sure of the genus), and, yes, he's a he. Thinking of you all ~ love,

Yes, the clouds do look extra special these days! Yesterday, I spotted a salmander in our backyard and it looked extra special. The little things in life that we take for granted, now seem so much more important. Hopefully, this will spread throughout our world, so everyone can enjoy the beauty and peace that we have in fornt of us. Happy Fall to all!

Me too, I say happy birthday to my favorite French Nephew. Yes, Jerome, that is YOU. I hope you had a great birthday, since you are probably fast asleep in bed now, tired from all the celebrating. How does it feel to be seven years old? Tell us all about it. Love from your auntie....

and i also wish a happy birthday to jerome! i was a fool not to see you and your family when you were here so now i must send love this way. I myself am so happy to have this link to our family, it is so heartening to hear from any and all of our relatives and our friends. I am always so happy to see you all at family gatherings, i don't know why i feel shy sometimes. Today, and this week, i am feeling a strange sense of peace and hope. And an eagerness, to paraphrase andrea, to stick my big greek nose in as many flowers as possible. And to make good on my longstanding promise to visit Naki and Lee. My thoughts are with you both and with Kathy. And my love to all.

Well, I think Andrea speaks for all of us when she says that we have to stop and smell the roses. Like everyone else, we're looking for a bit of good in all of this, and so it was nice to see family members last week. Lee and Naki's strength last week was inspiring. The service was beautiful, and has brought us some peace, helping us to begin to focus on how Peter and Sue lived, instead of how they died. We are greatful for all our family members. Love to everyone!

Here is another cousin checking in. I add my name to those who will be in MA for Christmas. I too was glad to have so many of you here this past week. You are right, Andrea. Life is WAY too short, and too uncertain. Time to do all those things we have been putting off. Like keeping in touch. Me, I am missing my kids off in college, as proud of them as I am. You?
Paula
Friday, September 21, 2001 at 15:45:42 (PDT)
Ah Hah! You DO still read the Message Board, Andrea! I suspected the same. And you, too, Kevin Straley. Come on, cousins, keep the discourse going. This is your message board, too. Times like these serve to reinforce how important family is. It was great to have so many together earlier in the week, even on this most somber and sad of occassions. Thanks for the update, Andy, and we'll be looking for yours, Kevin....All my love, too, and I'll be in Boston for Christmas with Ana as well. §

Friday, September 21, 2001 at 15:38:59 (PDT)
The messages on this board have really changed in the last week. It seems that our everyday "news" is now insignificant. I think we all now appreciate our family and friends a little more - I know I do. I find myself "stopping to smell the roses" more often. My new mantra is "Life is too short". I hope to see as many of you as possible at Christmas this year. All my Love, Andrea

the following is a general translation of the nessage from giota. I will do a better job when I am home and have access to dictionaries.

when I turned on the PC and read that which uncle peter wrote I was shocked and dismayed a great deal. In spite of the fact that we are related I would never had recognized it then. It was horrible what has happened to you.I and my fmily feel a great sorrow for you and you sister NAKI. May you have the strength and courage to continue on with your life. We hope to see you in the near future. Love Giota Stilou

have been trying to know what to say for a few days because no words seem right but mona has got me on. each time i see the family and say i check in more than i write they all assure me they want to hear from me so here i am. the service was beyond what i could ever imagine. lee and naki were ever so gracious and there for each one of us. kathy and her family too. i just feel so very fortunate to be among this wonderful family who hold each other so very dear in each other hearts. i have never felt such hugs ... this is just the best family at any time and especially on this day.

if you are like me just checking in to see what everyone is saying please just stop and say a few words we all need to hear from each and every one of you at this time.

as you know our children asked us to cancel the trip to europe so we did. love to each and everyone of you. sue

My heart is so full at the moment, I have no words. Just holding this whole family close. Sue Straley can speak for me - when she posts of what I great family we are...I was afraid it would sound like bragging to say such a thing, but it's nothing but the truth.

Mona and I are back in Seattle. I, too, ponder the events of the past week. A week to remember and to reflect. It was reassuring and comforting to be with the family. Both services made me proud of our family. Perhaps the part of the weekend that will burn strongest in my memory was the feeling sitting at the Services, hand-in-hand, singing the Barney song. I hope all is well with everyone, and that all have a safe trip home, wherever and whenever that might be...§

I am back in Brevard and trying to process all the events of recent days. One leg of my trip home was cancelled at the last minute and I spent five and a half hours at Dulles, trying not to watch CNN on the monitor.

That was a very touching article by Anna Quindlen. Thanks, Mark, for putting it up for all of us to read.

My thoughts and love have been with all of my family, both near and far, this past week. I'm glad to know that we were so well represented in CT this weekend. We lose too many along the way, but we still have eachother, and that gives us the strength, will and desire to continue.

I agree that the Service was catharic and healing. I am thankful for all those who were there in body and/or spirit. I am also very grateful for the unending efforts United Airlines has gone to to make the service as meaningful and effortless as possible. Peter Hanson's employer has set up a website as a Memorial to the family. The address is petehansonandfamily.com. Maybe our webmaster will fit a link into it somewhere. Mona and I will be headed back to Seattle tomorrow. For all those here on the east coast that we didn't have enough time to visit with, I'll be back this way in December and will try to find you then...§

yes it was a lovely service there in the beautiful old church we are getting to know . It was also really good to see our extended family and many friends, it feels like the most healing thing we can do. Naki and Lee and Kathy were all as gracious hosts as ever, and Lee especially cheered and heartened many, as sad as he must be right now. It was hard to see their tight little family together without Peter. We missed everyone who wasn't there, i'm especially thinking of you, brother Mark. Amy had a good time meeting everybody ("you have a Great family") which makes me glad of course. Hope we can have another big get together soon. Maybe en France?
Love to all.

I look forward with deep intensity to seeing each one of my loved ones. My best thoughts are with all of us, and all my love. ps it is always good to hear from you, giota. Dad, translation? Sounds like fun, Paula. We did not do much falling out, either, instead enjoyed splashing the other rafts. I don't know what class the rapids were, but they were rather calm.

Other than that, I watch the summer slowly drift to an end here. A lot of the tourists are gone, and we can once again drive along the coast, roller-blade on the boardwalk in Cannes, and find parking places.

What's new with everyone else? Looks like something (someone?) is keeping Steven busy - we hear almost less from him than from me. And when is Melinda going to show us that she got that fancy Sony thing working, and tell us how it feels to be a full fleged Smithy?

And a big thanks to the Red Sox for letting me get to bed earlier, instead of listening to useless games ... Maybe next year ...

Mark
Monday, September 10, 2001 at 16:36:56 (PDT)
And we made it back from white water rafting. WOW! Breath taking, invigorating, scary, wet, and a lot of fun. Probably not as exotic as Mark's trip at Verdon, but it was beautiful. Next year the Colorado. Only one member of our group fell out (twice), though several of the rafts lost ALL of their passengers, and some only the guide. They decided to give us a thrill and changed the trip to TWICE over the Class 5 rapids. I would do it all over again, once my sunburn fades and I dry off. Maybe our next family reunion should be a rafting trip....
Paula
Monday, September 10, 2001 at 04:11:34 (PDT)
We made it to the reunion in KY. Me, Mom and Dad that is. And lots of Chandlers! About 55 people I think, including Becky. It was quite fun, even though I hadn't met most of the people before. Lots of stories and genealogical info. Today we went out to Bearwallow and saw all the old places there, including the old Bark Road School, which is now the home of Carl Lake, who helped move Layne Laurel Lodge. Aunt Kandis' house is gone and replaced by a newer one in the same spot :(

Hello Jessie! Stay in school. It's a ratrace out here in the real world. Maybe you can still flunk out and stay there another year. It looks like your parents didn't survive the whitewater trip so going back home doesn't look like an option. I'll still come and visit you though.

To you I wish seething jelousy of my new wheels. Lilypad green del-sol coup convertible. Also I'd like to ask everybody to be especially nice to my parents, their going through a tough period of transition....Oh wait no they're not, they're whitewater rafting. I guess I should get back to my book, "contingency, irony and solidarity" as part of a class taught by two brilliant and tough teachers revolving around 10 years of philisophical discussion they have had together-but I will get to see the freshmen sqirm. Peter if you're interested, I can send you copies of the Greek based papers I write. and anyone is free to visit any time for supper and wine.

I could use a little of that empty house action right about now. Had to take an extra day off work, even after a 3 day 'weekend'...

All 5 of us moved into a different room. Miranda bought a car and learned how to drive it. I managed to not have a heart attack when I saw how much car insurance for a 16 year old girl is. Now we're continuing the 'shift the sh*t' process. And it's off to mow the lawn. Hopefully for the almost last time this year.

Can you say 'phew'? I thought you could. Cheers!

Just a lazy Labor Day weekend in Seattle. We're getting ready to go on a Pig Hunt (Pigs on Parade) and a Clothes Hunt (Back to School Shopping). It's back to school on Tuesday. We have friends from Eugene in town, and we're planning a Boston trip in December. Hope the summer has been kind to all....§

Good luck to Melinda as she gets ready for the first days of her college career. I'm sure you'll do fine, Melinda.
Good luck to Jessamyn, also, starting her senior year. You're on the home stretch, Jess, hang in there. Love, Yaya

I sometimes think that with my drive and earning power i would have been very wealthy and would have homes in europe, boats and everything that money can buy. But then I realize I would not have my wife and kids. Then I knew that both I and the world would have missed something extrodinarily beautiful. And then came the grandchildren. Wow! what a blessing. I can not wait for great grand kids. And it will go on forever. See what you started ahileas and marianthe.
Thank you all. buddy

At the risk of getting stuck on top again, let me say CONGRATULATIONS to Athena. I will definitely be there on Jerry's birthday to cheer you on. Melinda may carry on the tradition at Smith (I hope, I hope). Exciting news about the sign too, Athena, and Ana's big move. Love these postings.

We had a very nice visit with the youngest Pingrees over the weekend. We went to a baseball game in which both benches cleared because the batter thought the pitcher's diamond earrings shone to brightly. My, how times have changed. Paul and Betsy are coming back in three weeks to go the Puyallup Fair. This will be the fourth time in a row for Betsy coming with us. It's a time we always look forward to. Ana moves in with me on Friday, for her fourth grade year. We are both looking forward to it. She will be spending her before school and after school time with her mom while I work. Even with Ana, I have plenty of room for guests, so y'all come on out, y'heah? September is by far the nicest month in Seattle.....Hope to see you all soon.....§

hey did i mention that my sign finally went up in chesterfield, just in case ANYone could have missed it after two newspaper articles (or so they tell me -- haven't seen either one yet) it looks good and it's the talk of the (very small) town. joey helped put it up back in the days when he had an appendix. afterwards we all (amy melissa joey and i) went swimming in the chesterfield bend (just upriver from the chesterfield gorge). so the results from canada were that the boat i was in came in dead last in our heat but we had a great row and all came out smiling which is more than i can say for our other boat in the same race who came in third and were miserable about it, allowing us to feel Very Superior. Seriously though, we had a great time, and i am so happy i rowed this summer and i did make the boat for the head of the charles regatta (october twentieth) so that's it for sports headlines. in other news, amy says hello to everyone, she is getting ready to start school again in a week. we are still cleaning our house and we saw a great movie last night "the others" if any one is looking for a good scary / creepy movie to see. we are looking forward to having melinda out here and jessomyn --> i Promise this is the year i come visit you at school, if i'm still invited. Scott -- i'm glad to finally have a handle on what pathologists actually do (kielbasa id.) betsy (and dave) sorry i didn't get to see you longer, and yes i Promise to send stuart home before october -- this is my year to be a better aunt -- love to everybody

Sounds great Mark! I would love to hear details. Scarey moments? Advice? I am going white water rafting in Maine on September 8th. Mark and I are going to commemorate our first weekend with both kids off at college: a bittersweet time indeed. I am looking forward to both adventures, though, and am proud of both my girls. Melinda is off to Smith September 1, and Jess back to Marlboro September 3.

Summer is still going strong here, even if the days are getting shorter. I cannot remember when I last saw rain. The job took us all rafting down the rapids of Verdon today. First time for me, and it was fun enough to do it again. Paula and company should remember that river - they saw the canyons there. We did not do that part of the river, but there was a little white water. Other than that there is not much to report from here. In answer to Sue's question from long ago - I am in southern France on the Riviera, near Cannes, Antibes, Juan les Pins, and Nice. I never heard of Non les Pins - maybe you mean Juan les Pins, in which case we will be seeing you soon! Let me know.

Well, either we are too kind or too boring to post jokes for Joey. But anyway, Joe, we hope you are home from the hospital and convalescing happily and peacefully. Betsy and Paul are coming over to spend the night tonight, and tomorrow we are all going to see the Mariners/Indians game. Summer seems to be winding down out here. We had record rains this week. It's always sad to see summer end, but it's a good thing that fall is the nicest time of the year out this way. Here's hoping that all is well with all who constitute our family...§

Welcome home Paulala, Melindada and Jessamynmyn!

The big news from here: Joey had his appendix out just a few hours ago. He'd been having stomach ache since last evening. Dr. Go (partner of Dr. Miller who operated on Dad) said the appendix was swollen like a kielbasa, but not ruptured. Of course, we still need the pathologist, to make sure it was a swollen appendix and not a kielbasa. Joe is feeling much better already. His Mom is staying at the hospital with him tonight.

It's a sure sign of the end of summer/beginning of fall when the last of the summer visitors leave NC. We're sorry that we didn't get there this summer. More blueberries for y'all, I suppose. Ana and I are planning to be in Boston for Christmas. Ana will be headed home immediately after the holiday, I don't know what I will be doing. It feels like fall/winter here today. The first cloudy/cool/rainy day in what seems like months. Good for the fires. Here's hoping that everyone has had a nice summer so far...§

Paula and crew left Burnsville for Massachusetts at 10:30 this morning in a very full car and after a very full week. The last I saw of them, as we headed toward Brevard, they were getting a full gas tank. Anyone watching for them in Acton should see them rolling in sometime tomorrow.

Here we are, back in Brevard. Dad took Mark to the airport, where they are now. As the airline went bankrupt shortly after we arrived here, we wonder about his flight home. How was it, Mark? We are enjoying the sights, the company and the food, and the many late night games. We head back to the cabin tomorrow. Wish you were (all) here.

Glad you liked them, Scott. I forgot to ask Ping if he'd given them to you. Sure wish I was hiking out on the Peninsula again.

Sounds like Betsy and David have had a fine time of it - visits to Camp Union and Hampton Beach and the Pingree House in Salem and the Newton Cemetary. Topped off with a stay at the Howard Johnson's-turned-Sheraton in Newton Corner over the Mass Pike last night. I must say I'm ready to have them back, though.

Had a short but fun visit from Dave and Betsy. We all went to see Jeff and Sara. Also stopped in and saw Amy- Athena wasn't back from her rowing and winetasting in Toronto yet. Then got a nice "taste of Northampton". Tried to get Dave and Betsy to stay longer but they headed out looking for adventure this morning. I'm planning to go to NC the second week in Sept. starting out with the family (Mama Layne side) get together in KY.

I envy those headed down to NC. I hope it is as good as I imagine that it will be. It's a relaxing weekend around here. It seems like this is my first weekend alone in my (still somewhat) new house. I've been putzing around the house and the garden. In a few minutes I will start labelling Ana's clothes and possessions. Tomorrow she heads to summer camp. It's only for a week, but she is very excited. The weather around here has been perfect. Mid eighties and virtually no humidity. One could get spoiled pretty easily. I hope everyone is having a nice summer. It sure was nice having the French relations around. Ya'll come back, now, y'hear? §

It's time somebody bumped Mona (and Paul and Jerry Garcia) from the top of the webpage.

We took the brown camper into the forest on Friday for a little camping and it was great. Great, that is, until the middle of the night when the rains came down. So after breakfast we broke camp (and it's much easier that taking a wet tent down!) and travelled home (a distance of about 5 miles.) Next time maybe we'll venture farther afield. Or maybe not.

We're looking forward to a visit from the entire Stylos-Allan family, plus friend, arriving next week-end.

I'll have to reply on behalf of Paul:

I'm having the best birthday of my LIFE!!!

OK, just kidding, he didn't really say that. He was overnighting with a friend yesterday. Tonight we're all going out to dinner to celebrate, right after Miranda's first day of work! Presents and other folderol to follow this weekend. Who knows, maybe I'll even get my home connectivity issues resolved then, too.

His week at Scout Camp was, by all accounts, an unqualified success! He earned 3 merit badges, got to do archery and riflery (is that a real word?), and had an all around great time. I got a new backpack out of the deal! (well, we're sharing, but, you know, same thing) He came home to find out it's his week to keep the little league championship trophy. So I guess all's right in Paul's little world at the moment.

(happy birthday wishes to Jerry Garcia, too)

Funny how easy it is to miss spots with suntan lotion, and how easy it is to see where you missed the next day. Ouch. Someday I'll learn.

Would love to see the little French fries once more before they go...

Oops, getting ahead of myself. Perhaps, since I have Mr. Webmaster in my home, I should have him fix my mistakes. If everything--including planes--continues on schedule, Mark and Vanessa and Jerome should be heading out of Greenville, SC airport about now, headed for Seattle. Their visit here was short (5 days) but full of swimming, chasing lighening bugs, hunting for mica and the usual. They leave a deafening silence in their wake. (Mark, you also left your "throw away" camera.)

As usual, Mark left our computers and cars in better shape than he found them. And thank you Mark for the very thorough, long-overdue cleaning of the gas grill. Have fun in Seattle.

It will be great to see everyone when you arrive next month and to here the story of the delivery!

Last week I went to a technology camp with 22 high school females from Wrentham down to Wareham. The girls learned how to make a boat out of scrap materails, balloons, sheet of masonite, plastic, twine...and had to launch and move it from one end of the UMASS Dartmouth pool to the other. Noone sank this year! The week was spent learn about the opportunites for girls in engineering, learning how to make a computer chip board, solving a crime through forsenic, and of course living in a dorm and experiencing dorm food. All in all a fun week.

Now I am waiting for that hot New England summer. Does anyone have a problem with the amount of honey bees around this year? We have a lot of tomato flowers but not too many green tomatoes all on a very tall green plant!

You will have to get the details from Thea - I don't think she'd want such private info posted on a website :) But yes, John was with her (along with the paramedics) and all went well. Looking forward to seeing Dave and Betsy in August. If you remind me, I have a little gift for the Pingree family.

Big news from Maryland (via Colorado)....Thea is the proud mama of a baby girl named Caitlin Marie. She was born at home (not planned!) on July 1st. Mom and baby are doing great. Robert and Greg are so excited to have a little sister, and we're glad to have another girl around!

Good to hear, Steve. It is awfully quiet here all of a sudden. You know what that means? It means YOU will soon have a house full of energy and axcitement. Get your rest and relaxation in now. I already miss them.

Hi, all! I'm in Eugene for a few days of rest and relaxation before I go back to work, at least for a few days, next week. I feel fine, just a bit tired. Looking forward to having the French relations in town. I've been enjoying my new house, but I haven't spent enough time there. I'm looking forward to spending more when Mark and the kids are here. The weather in the Northwest has been perfect weather, I hope you are all enjoying the same. §

Good question! We will be in NC either Aug 11-19 or 18-26. Either way we should be here in MA for at least part of their time. And why aren't the rest of you coming?
Paula

So does that mean you'll be in Massachusetts when David and Betsy are, Paula? (Aug 8-15)

Thanks for the report, Lisa. i hope to catch up with you all in August. And Steve: how are you? Did you ever consider the word moustache...mouse-stash...no wonder you shaved it off. I believe Dad, Mark, Vanessa and Jerome may be off to NC today, but I am not sure. As Lisa so aptly said, "there is no rest for the weary"...yes I am at work, not home playing with them and Dad's great new camper. We hope to get to NC mid August. Hope you are all happy and healthy.

I was just reading everyone's wonderful summer plans/stories, and thought I'd share ours! Dan, Perry and I spent a fantastic week in Colorado. We traveled all around, and spent time with both of my brothers (who live in Denver and Ft. Collins). Spent most of our time in Boulder as the guests of Andrea, Vinnie and Sophie. Philip(sadly)couldn't join us, because there is no rest for the weary! The boys and I will be driving to Fairhaven at the end of the month, and will be there for most of August. Phil will be coming up for about a week around the 18th. We hope to see you all then! Hope everyone is having a healthy and happy summer!

Mona has been on top long enough. My turn. All is well in this corner of North Carolina. I spent the day at the cabin yesterday, checking on the work we did the week before and enjoying the loudly roaring creek. It is not a good blueberry year! Athena said when she was here that the next thing we do to the cabin should be a new floor downstairs. Anybody like to put in floors?

Paul is in MA (for those of you who don't already know)and will return soon with Mark et les petits-enfants. He's driving his new "love bus" which, I hope, will provide us the means for many picnics and camping in the National Forest nearby.

Steve is back home after a couple of nights in the hospital. He says he is available by his call phone if you want more details about that.

The revised, improved edition of Bearwallow Road is on schedule for release in Mid-August. Happy Summer to all.

Our lives have been pretty hectic the past few weeks. OK, more so than usual. We're kinda taking it day by day.

Our summer travel plans have been scaled back, and now consist of David and Betsy headed to Mass. for one week - August 8-15, with our nephew Liam's wedding falling in the middle of that on the 11th. Paula, will you be around then? Scott?

Wish I had better news, but, in the words of the lovely Jillian Slattery, "You get what you get"

We have had a nice relaxing summer so far, too. The weather has been perfect, and the City is abuzz with baseball, hot dogs and apple pie. This weekend we had not one but two sets of house guests the second set coming a few hours after the first set left. Finally a chance break the new house in. We are hoping that the 'French relations' will come and visit us as well.

We went to Portland for our tenth annual fireworks party there. All in all, life is good. Hope you can all say the same...§

We just got back from Norfolk and Virgina Beach (VA). What a great place, lots of sunshine and Southern hospitatily. Jessica danced in Norfolk at the Chrysler Center at the Headliners Nationals Dance Competition. It was great to watch her and the other dance teams compete, and to admire the talent in front of us!
Off to UMASS Dartmouth this week to teach at an overnight camp for high school females in engineering and technology.
Hi Mark and company. Enjoy your stay in the US! It's great to have you close by!
Happy belated Fourth to all!

A good time here in Acton. Today we had Scott with Melissa, Joe and Jeff all here. They left (with Mark, Vanessa and Jerome) to visit Pam and Cam. Jess is off to Boston to visit a friend, and Melinda is upstairs playing with her new computer. Yesterday we took the little French relations into Boston to ride the swan boats. That was fun. The frog pond looked inviting but alas, we had no swimsuits with us. Mark A. made some excellent Pesto Pizza for supper. That is all our news. Yours?

okay so a bed race (or at least this one) is when a group of people (like the moose lodge or habitat for humanity) decorate a bed and put wheels on it (one bed raced on regular castors) and push it up and down main street in a racing fashion. I'll send paula (and anyone else who cares) my blow by blow description i sent to amy...

Okay Thene, I'll bite. What is a bed race? I have two of my favorite brothers here (Scott and Mark) as well as three of my favorite nieces and nephews (Joe, Jerome and Vanessa). We have celebrated by a water fight on the trampoline, an upcoming hot air balloon ride, and fireworks (as well as a cookout). Wish you were her, don't you?

Save you? I did not even know you were suffering!
The kids and I made it to Boston with out a hitch (which is more than we can say for our bags...). They were angels - no fighting, no crying. I think the double dose of Dramamine might have helped. Know we just need to figure out the details of the next four weeks. We will keep you posted.

well since no-one will save me i'll have to save myself (isn't life like that) the shed is getting close to done, it's all up and partly roofed, we just have to finish shingling and paint it, and put some shelves and hooks in. And a little rock garden out front if i have my way. It was a rush to get the tarpaper up yesterday before/during the downpour but we did it ... now we just have to pick a colour ... hope all my siblings are enjoying their beautiful summers, and my cousins and aunts and nephews and all my friends and relations, as rabbit would say. Anyone have any fun plans for the fourth? They are having a bed race here in brevard, i can't wait to see what that is about ...
