I was sad to hear about the passing of Carol Schwartz, who died last month. I'll remember her as a gracious, lively woman who always made me feel welcome in her home. I credit her for introducing me to hiking...she took us on wonderful trips to Blue Hills and Mt. Monadnock. Happy trails, Mrs. Schwartz.

Things are going apace here. Melinda recovering well, Mark completed 4 out of 6 treatments in India, Jess about to be DONE with all graduate school requirements (tomorrow!) and the boat is in the water. Oh, and retirement may be just around the corner (all fingers crossed).

Just to let you all know, Melinda is recovering nicely. I thoroughly enjoyed her company as she spent her first week in Acton with Jess and me. She is much more active and feeling lots better. She will have to take it easy and can't go back to work until the end of May...she sure picked a good time of year. Oh, and Mark is halfway through his six weeks of treatment in India...does he have some stories to tell! And Jess is enjoying her last day of graduate school classes today. Big doings in this family.

This board has provided some wonderful reading over the years - decades almost. I hope you, my loving family, will also take some time to drop a line, cause Buddy does enjoy it so.

To the entire Stylos family, a very Happy Happy New Year!

I just happened to be looking at some of the pictures I took of Grandpa and Grandma (Paul and Ramona) when I last saw them in 2006. I couldn't help but stop that rightaway and come check out stylos.net.

Grandpa was my first manager at my first job fresh out of grad school in 1970. More importantly, he was my dear friend who shares a lot of the credit for who I am today!

We love you guys. I will call home in a few days.
